Unique beauty testing programme to launch in the UK

A unique consumer beauty testing programme is being launched in the UK. It will allow women to try out famous brands for a fraction of the high street price.

For anyone who missed out on Boots No7 “Protect and Perfect” serum, the “BrandNewYouTube” will be invaluable. For just £80 a year, subscribers will receive around £400 worth of beauty products – delivered directly to their front door.

The testing programme is the first of its kind anywhere in Europe, and has already attracted support from L’Oreal, Nivea, Elizabeth Arden and a host of major cosmetic companies.

The BrandNewYouTube will be mailed to subscribers four times a year, and will contain a minimum of £80 of product in each tube.

Kay Wood, Brand Manager for BrandNewyouTube says, “ For our subscribers it provides an exciting opportunity to test the latest skin creams and anti-ageing. We expect a great deal of interest”

For the beauty companies it will provide valuable consumer insight into buying habits and future trends, which we will feature in Brand New You Magazine, on sale Saturday 26th May.

Lisa Doerr, Managing Director said “With this scheme we intend to build the UK’s largest market research tool for the beauty industry.”

User can subscribe to the BrandNewYouTube via the website (www.brandnewyoumagazine.com) or from the pages of Brand New You magazine, which launches on the 24th May, with a special launch price of £1.99.
