Merricks Media wins contract to produce The Traveller in France

The competition was hard fought, with Merricks beating off five major rivals to win the rights to produce the magazine, now in its 80th year of publication. The Traveller in France is produced twice a year and has a distribution of more than 100,000 copies.

The contract will run for the next three years and marks the first time in over 25 years that the French Tourist Board has selected a new publisher for the title.

The principal reason for Merricks winning the contract was the excellence of its French Magazine, which is the company's longest standing overseas property title. The editor of French Magazine, Justin Postlethwaite commented "We have a great regard for, and working relationship with the French Tourist Board and I'm looking forward to ensuring that the same care and attention that goes into producing our magazines is reflected in The Traveller In France."
