£10,000 giveaway leads innovative magazine launch

Brand New You, the UK’s first monthly cosmetic enhancement magazine, is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a makeover worth £10,000.

The competition will run in the launch issue of the magazine, which goes on sale on the 24th May, and is the biggest makeover giveaway of its type. The prize includes £5,000 worth of cosmetic surgery, a hair makeover from the current British Hairdresser of the Year, laser treatment, teeth whitening and a goody bag with hundreds of pounds worth of cosmetics.

The £10,000 competition is not the only giveaway in the magazine however; the first issue also offers readers the chance to get their hands on free beauty products, discounts on world renowned spas, and membership to a leading female-only gym chain.

Lisa Doerr, publisher of Brand New You, says “This is the biggest launch in the monthly women’s magazine market for more than two years, and we want to make it the most exciting as well. We’re delighted to launch with the biggest ever cosmetic giveaway, and we’re backing it with a six figure promotional spend as well. All the signs are that this will be the launch of the year.”

The first issue of Brand New You will have a distribution of more than 55,000 copies, and is being stocked in WH Smith, Tesco, and other leading news outlets, as well an exclusive distribution to clinics, spas and 5 star hotels nationwide.

It goes on sale on the 24th May, with a special launch price of £1.99
